We are Poppy & Stephen, the owners of Harriet's Rest. We welcome you & can't wait for you to create your own cherished memories at our camp grounds. Unplug from everyday pressures & reconnect with nature & moments that matter most. Whether it be taking in the stunning mountain views, fun activities by the creek, star gazing or sharing stores around the camp fire, we hope you love your stay.
The name of our beautiful parcel of land is in memory of our late daughter Harriet, who we devastatingly & unexpectedly lost as a baby in 2024. This life changing & incredibly tragic time left our family heartbroken & has left a lasting impression on our lives. For sometime even before we were expecting Harriet, we had been working hard to purchase our own little slice of paradise. So when we achieved that goal, it felt appropriate to call this special place "Harriet's Rest". We believe in the power of nature to soothe, restore & somewhat heal hearts. Now we enjoy time here with family & friends.
