Welcome to Harriet’s Rest. This is an off-grid, rural camping property set in a natural bush environment, offering plenty of beautiful places to stay across the land. Camp areas are unmarked, giving you the freedom to choose a spot that suits your setup on arrival, whether among shady gum trees, open grassy areas, or close to one of the creeks.

When you arrive, you’ll enter the property via a dirt road, you will cross a cattle grid and see the "Harriet's Rest" sign. Our land runs along both sides of this road, you’ll find plenty of camping areas to explore:
The Ridge – As you drive in, there are excellent sites just off the dirt road. These offer stunning views and are well suited for caravans and trailers, being that the access is easy and sites are mostly flat.
Creekside Escapes – On either side of the road, you’ll discover spots down by the creeks. To the right hand side, you’ll find Wide Bay Creek, with areas ideal for campers who want to be close to the water for activities like swimming. To the left hand side, you’ll come across Rocky Creek, a slower running creek, perfect for nature lovers and people wanting peacefulness. Please note, not all these areas are suitable for caravans and 2WD vehicles. Please read further for more information.

We kindly ask that you please use common sense when selecting a camp spot, please select a spot suitable for your vehicle and setup. Some areas are NOT SUITABLE for caravans and 2WD. Tracks and camp areas are unsigned, please stink to existing tracks only and navigate with caution, if you are unsure about ground conditions we recommend talking a short walk to check before driving. We want everyone in safe and suitable camping areas.
