Entry is a privilege, not a right.
We want to keep sharing with you, so please follow the campsite rules to ensure our land stays beautiful.
Facilities
Fires Permitted
Campsite fires are permitted, but MUST be in a contained fire pit. You can use the designated fire pits on site, or bring your own portable fire pit. All fires must be put out before leaving the camp ground. Please bring your own firewood, you may collect a small amount of kindling sticks to start your fire.
Toilets Available
We have toilets available for your convenience. Please help us keep them clean & tidy for the next guests, everyone appreciates it!
Caravan & Motorhome Access
The campgrounds have plenty of room for big vehicles. We ask that you please follow the designated tracks to keep out of trouble & please stick to camping in the caravan safe camp areas signed.
Suitable For Tents
All camp set ups are welcome here. Please stick to the designated areas signed.
Pets Allowed
Travelling pets are welcomed IF NECESSARY. We understand that some pets need to come along and we welcome them. But please note free roaming is NOT ALLOWED, dogs must be ON LEAD AT ALL TIMES. Pets are not invited for fun, so we ask that they are not bought along for convenience.
Phone Service
Stay connected if needed, we have good phone reception at our campgrounds.
No Power
Unfortunately we don't have any powered sites.
No Showers
There are no showers available at the campground, come prepared.
Genorators Permitted
Generators are only to be run during the day between 8am-5pm, please limit the time to as short as possible, it is not pleasant to hear all day
Campground Terms & Conditions
Harriet's Rest Campgrounds are monitored daily, violation of rules or property may result in removal. To ensure a safe & pleasant environment for all of guests, please follow the rules above & below, thank you.
- This campground is not a day use area. Please do not enter the camp without a confirmation booking, do not enter this property just for activities such as swimming, fishing, ect.
- Booking & payment are required, no unpaid stays. Please note, the campground may occasionally have closures due to private use or weather events, so we recommend booking in advance or checking before arrival.
- If you encounter any problems, need assistance or see any suspicious behaviour please contact the property owners, camper safety is important to us, you can call or leave a message any time - day or night, please find contact details on the CONTACT page .
- We have a noise curfew 9:30pm - 7am, please keep noise to a minimum in-between these hours, respect your neighbours.
- We also ask that generators are run only during the day between 8am-5pm, please limit the time to as short as possible, it is not pleasant to hear all day.
- Swim at your own risk! Swimming is allowed, but safety is your responsibility. Please be aware that in a natural body of water there can be submerged rocks and logs. Children must be supervised at all times around waterways, the campground does not provide life saving supervision. Enjoy, but be cautious.
- Fishing in Wide Bay Creek is permitted, strictly catch and release.
